Drugs and Alcohol:Effects, Testing and Health and Safety
This one day event is designed for staff whose role is to enforce drug and alcohol policies and also for staff who are subject to testing as part of their employment contract.
As such it is particularly relevant for health and safety and HR staff in organisations working in the transportation, oil, gas and engineering offshore industries.

Understanding the effects of "legal highs" and the issues regarding testing for them
Understanding the health and safety implications of both use and enforced abstinence from these substances
Understanding the psychological effects of commonly used substances such as cocaine, amphetamine, alcohol and benzodiazepines
Understanding the nature of testing and its implications in terms of policy enforcement and development
